What is Listening Space Design?
I custom build tube-based vinyl playback systems: phono preamps, preamps and amplifiers, along with custom speakers to match. Everything I build uses tube electronics. None of it is solid state.
I spent the last twenty years of my career in El Salvador. Down there I restored cars, and when I couldn't do that anymore I got into electronics. Mahogany was easy to find, and between my love of woodworking and my love of audio, one thing slowly led to another. I've been building for more than ten years now.
Along the way I built systems for friends, and their wives let every one of them into the living room. In the audio world that's called the WAF, the "wife acceptance factor." It's the standard I build to.
